Finally, a hummus without the unnecessary fat via added oils! This is truly a gilt free
version of your classic hummus with only 85 calories and 2.7g fat per 1/4 cup!
Not only is it great for all of your dipping needs ( veggies, pretzels, pita) but its an awesome way to add flavor and moisture to any sandwich or wrap in lieu of mayo (yuck).

Yields:
3 - 3.5 cups (12 to 14 1/4 cup servings)
Ingredients:
2 - 15oz cans Garbanzo Beans (also called Chickpeas) * Drain 1 can. Reserve liquid from 1 can*
1-1.5 lemon juiced (option to add a little zest if you like a more lemony hummus)
2 heaping Tablespoons organic Tahini Paste
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt (more to taste)
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
1 Teaspoon Garlic powder
1/2 Teaspoon Cumin
1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder (optional)
1.5 Teaspoon Tajin seasoning cayenne pepper
dash of cayenne for spice (optional)
Paprika to garnish
In a blender,
Add garbanzo beans and the liquid from ONE of the cans. Add all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. TASTE! and add more garlic, lemon, or spices to reach your desired flavor.
Store in refrigerator for up to a week.
